Form a team – Student teams may be any size, but the team leader must be in grades 9 – 12.
Register online – The team leader will pre-register for the challenge at rainier.film/the-student-film-riff. Registration will be open through March 8th 2019
Make a short film – On Friday, March 8th, the team leader will receive an email describing the challenge. Student teams will then have three weeks to create a film NO LONGER than 5 minutes in response to the prompt. (Films may be shorter.)
Submit your film – Films will be submitted online no later than 6:00 pm PST on Friday, March 29th 2019. (There is no charge to submit a film!) We encourage you to submit your film as soon as it is completed and not to wait until the final deadline.
