Nathan East: For The Record

For the past five decades, Nathan East has come up through the ranks and shared the stage and studio with Eric Clapton, Lionel Richie, Whitney Houston, Kenny Loggins, Phil Collins, Bob James, Stevie Wonder, and more. This film showcases not only East's legendary history, but it also captures the magic in the studio during the making of his first solo album, which went on to earn a GRAMMY nomination for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album. But what this film really showcases is the intensely genuine, humble and inspirational man behind the bass. This was our chance to shine a spotlight on him and show the world the contribution he has made to our musical landscape and our lives.
